Our Process

Our design, build, and installation process at The Pool Company is a proven formula of success – and one you can count on to be consistent for all of our residential and commercial clients.

Once a client contacts us about building a pool, one of our team members will visit the property to take measurements, and discuss the design options and specifics they are looking for in their pool. We will then work up an estimate and send it to the customer with a detailed breakdown listed out. Our consultations are free, and we are willing to work with customers at any point they decide they want to begin – meaning, even if they aren’t ready for construction to begin immediately, we’ll put together a rough draft and price estimate.

After a client does decide to move forward with a custom-designed concrete pool build, here are a few other options we will discuss in a follow-up consultation:

  • Your plaster color choice from Florida Stucco; (Gem Finish) will be the line included in pricing unless specified, however, there are many other options available for upgrade
  • Your choice of pool equipment; we primarily use Hayward brand equipment
  • Your choice of the water line tile and decking. Decking options include, but are not limited to brushed concrete, Spraydeck, and Concrete, Porcelain, or Travertine Pavers.
  • Your choice of coping for pool edge.
  • Your choice of materials for any raised spa or waterfall walls.

Once our client and our team design the pool and nail down the selections of the customer’s choosing, we will move on to our construction process. The first steps in the process will be to obtain all permitting necessary for the scope of work and ordering all materials for the job. The Pool Company only uses the highest quality materials for our job because we build every pool as if it were in our own backyard.

Next, our construction team will meet with the client at their property to lay out the pool so the customer can get a good visual of how their pool will fit on their property before we start to dig. Once the layout is approved, we will then begin construction. Throughout the build, our highly skilled construction crews will meticulously check every detail of work being done from the first scoop of dirt to the final handshake once we are complete. We at The Pool Company take great pride in our workmanship as our crew has mastered their crafts over their many years with the company.

Note: We do warranty the concrete pool shell for life. And another practice many other companies do not follow is that, instead of putting a mesh under a client’s concrete decking, we install rebar in our concrete decking for added durability to prevent cracking.
